Glass Reinforced Rigid TPUs Combine High Strength and Toughness
 

Desmoflex® compounds are reinforced rigid thermoplastic polyurethanes (RTPU) designed for high strength and toughness. These grades exhibit significant improvements in strength and stiffness, yet retain the important features of TPU, including: impact toughness, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and cold temperature performance. Desmoflex TPU compounds are ideal for structural applications intended for repeated use or that endure constant handling, like in housings for electronics or handles used in public transportation or for power equipment. Desmoflex has replaced engineering resins in these types of applications and offers additional benefits, including better vibration dampening characteristics and dry haptics for a nice feel.
